HCA 257 Cal REFLEX Carbon Barrel

Introducing the HCA Reflex Barrel — the latest innovation in Over The Barrel suppressor integration.

The REFLEX is the first carbon barrel contour on the market designed specifically around Over The Barrel (OTB), or Reflex-style, suppressors. Rather than adapting a conventional carbon barrel profile to accommodate an OTB suppressor, the Reflex was engineered from the beginning with suppressed hunting rifles – and the length they add – in mind.

The barrel features a spiral-fluted muzzle steel section that tapers from .750″ at the crown to .800″ at the carbon fiber. This extended steel section helps isolate and protect the carbon fiber from the intense heat generated during suppressed fire, while deep helical fluting removes unnecessary material and keeps overall barrel weight to a minimum.

The result is a barrel profile that gives hunters more flexibility when building a compact suppressed rifle. The Reflex allows you to achieve your desired minimum barrel length while keeping the overall length as short as possible. Just as importantly, the contour is designed to maintain comfortable overall weapon balance and handling without adding unnecessary weight.

Like all HCA Carbon barrels, the Reflex is built around premium materials and precision manufacturing processes intended to maximize consistency and accuracy.

• Carbon fiber exterior is OD ground to a precise, clean finish.

Note: HCA blank barrels ship approximately 2.5″ over the finish length. We advise removing approximately 1.5″ of material from the muzzle end, and 1″ from the tennon end during final fitting and chambering.
