Built on the same proven foundation as HCA’s carbon-wrapped barrel line, the HCA Gold Series Carbon Barrel Blank combines precision-machined 416R stainless steel, HCA’s proprietary carbon fiber wrapping process, and gold-metallic flakes infused directly into the carbon layup to create a barrel that looks as distinctive as the rifle it’s built for.

The Gold Series isn’t merely a coating, paint, or surface treatment. The metallic flake is painstakingly incorporated into the carbon wrap itself, creating a unique appearance throughout the finished barrel while retaining the construction, rigidity, weight savings, and precision expected from an HCA carbon barrel.

Each barrel begins with premium 416R stainless steel and is microhoned to achieve less than 50 millionths of an inch of bore diameter variation. Maintaining exceptional consistency throughout the bore is an important part of producing a barrel capable of delivering repeatable performance from shot to shot.

Once the steel barrel has completed the machining and finishing process, it is wrapped using HCA’s proprietary hybrid fiber orientation with ultra-low resin content. Our carbon wrapping process strategically places material where it matters while minimizing unnecessary resin and weight. For the Gold Series, metallic gold-colored flakes are delicately woven into the carbon itself, producing a deep, distinctive appearance – no two barrels will ever look alike.

The result is unmistakably HCA: a lightweight, rigid, precision-built carbon barrel with a finish unlike anything else in the industry.

Note: HCA blank barrels ship approximately 2.5″ over the finish length. We advise removing approximately 1.5″ of material from the muzzle end and 1″ from the tenon end during final fitting and chambering.
